Rhodendrons , azaleas, and veggies start arriving daily

3rd @ noon

Seed starting class. Brendan will cover all aspects of seed starting. What soil to use, when to start what, how to successfully plant outdoors, and how to keep the bugs away. Class is FREE-rsvp to the nursery to say your seat!

12th 10-11:30

Recycle class at the CP Community Center. Juliet will be teaching a hands on workshop on how to recycle “old” items into “new” planters. Class is free to area seniors and caregivers. Please bring a 4”-6” container for planting in. Please contact the CP community center for more info 530 677-2231

16th 11:00am and 2:00pm

Kids gardening class at the nursery. Children 4-16 can come and create a “TACO, PIZZA, or SALAD” garden. This is a hands on class and children must be accompanied by an adult. Class is free and while supplies last. You must RSVP to save your spot.

20th FIRST DAY OF SPRING FLING

Citrus talk at the nursery- Chris Strutz will talk about “Growing citrus in the foothills”-what varieties to plant, when, how to care for them all year. Class is free-please RSVP to the nursery to save your spot

organic veggie gardening class at the nursery –learn how to grow your own fruits and veggies organically. Class will cover soil prep, fertilization, what to plant when, and pest control. Class is free-please RSVP to the nursery to save your spot.

It is time to plant everything! Hydrangeas and roses on sale for MOM!

4th Vitek Mortgage is hosting a “Nursery Day” at the nursery.

They will be on hand to visit with you. 11:00-3:00

11th MAKE MOMMY SMILE DAY-10:00am-2:00pm

Kids can come make their MOMMY a free Mother’s Day gift. You can drop in at any time-please RSVP so we have enough supplies. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a hands on activity!

19th HANGING BASKET CLASS @ NOON.

This is one of our most popular classes…it fills up quickly. In this hands on class you will create your very own “Victorian Hanging Basket” We will cover plant selection, care, how to refresh your basket all year. Class includes all supplies needed. RSVP to save your spot-open to 24 people, lasts 90 minutes. $30.00
